Days 1 – 2: Victoria Falls Highlights
Spend two fabulous days exploring the legendary Victoria Falls, an African icon and one of the wonders of the world. Experience the scenic beauty of the area and discover why the Falls are known as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ which translates as ‘The Smoke That Thunders’.
Take a guided walk through the rainforest to stop at various vantage points for incredible views of the Falls. Enjoy a sunset cruise along the upper Zambezi River where David Livingstone canoed on his quest to discover the Falls over 150 years ago. Savour views of the abundant wildlife and incredible variety of birds as the setting sun leaves you breathless.
Days 3 – 5: Okavango Delta Highlights
Explore an area of remarkable natural beauty over three days in Botswana. The Okavango Delta reaches into the Kalahari Desert to infinitely enrich an environment that supports an incredible diversity of mammal, fish and bird life.
Meander through the watercourses in a traditional canoe or mokoro or travel overland for game viewing in an open safari vehicle to seek out the ‘Big Five’. Undisputedly romantic, this magical corner of Africa is one for your travel bucket list!
Days 6 – 8: Zambia Highlights
On the other side of the mighty Zambezi River, Zambia plays host to many of Victoria Falls’ wildlife and adventure activities. From cruising on the Zambezi, which teems with hippos and crocodiles, to open vehicle game drives in the Kafue National Park, spend three days experiencing the best of Zambia’s wildlife.
You can also opt for a guided canoe trail through the Lower Zambezi National Park, a marvellous way to view bird and animal life up close, and at a more sedate pace.
